Saffron & Sage
Sun-drenched Mediterranean cooking, wood fire, and a table meant for lingering.
Our Story
A little corner of the Mediterranean
Saffron & Sage began in 2014 as a six-table room above the old harbour, opened by chef Elena Marolakis after two decades cooking her way around the coast — from Crete to Catalonia to the Amalfi shore.
We cook the way we were taught: with fire, with patience, and with produce picked at its peak. Bread is baked each morning, fish comes in daily from the docks below, and the herbs are cut from our own rooftop garden. Nothing here is in a hurry — and neither should you be.
What started as a neighbourhood secret is now a table people cross the city for. The room is bigger, but the welcome hasn't changed.
